		<description>Jena,
If you are going to miss a payment, and that fact is a foregone conclusion at this point, missing the payment will reclassify your account and within days or weeks of the missed payment you will likely hear about reduced payment options from BofA that were curiously not available prior to having missed your payment.

This strategy has its applicability for those who were unable to meet the minimum payment anyway and should not be entertained with certain creditors at all. I am reasonably confident that you would be successful in this strategy with BofA.

While you are already keenly aware of your situation I would encourage you to look into all three of the legitimate options Mr. Kilian referenced. Sometimes all it takes is a marginal loss of income to drastically affect ones personal finances. It may be that garnering a minimum payment reduction from BofA is not enough to address your overall circumstances if you are unable to get back to work relatively quickly.

Best,
Michael
