		<description>Hey Steve,

I appreciate you linking to my contract review. It is really a shame what most of these programs do to consumers. One of my goals with my contract reviews is to educate consumers about exactly what the programs do. Many of these companies use smoke and mirrors when dealing with consumers. They dazzle them with all of the things that they deem wonderful and gloss over the stuff that might not be so wonderful. Things like we want you to pay us all of our money before we perform a service for you.

It never fails that the majority of complaints against debt settlement programs is that the client didn&#039;t fully understand the contract. This usually happens about 6 to 8 months into the program and the client starts to wonder why nothing has been settled. That is when they find out that most or all of their monthy payments have been going to fees and not much toward settling debts. That is when consumers get angry and most of these settlement companies just point to the contract and say, of course you knew that, you signed the contract.

So by spreading awarness to consumers about what the individual contracts for specific companies actually say, we can help people make more informed decisions while seeking financial assistance.
