Do not do business with Express Debt. They stole 17,000 dollars from a consumer who called me for help after the fact. Express Debt did nothing but take her money and let her get sued, receive judgments and ultimately have her wages garnished. They refused to refund a dime and never settled anything. I have heard from several other consumers with the same experience. The President of Express Debt even threatened to sue this consumer if she continued to email him and ask for a refund. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY PLEASE!!

http://damonday.com/3078/expre...

Beware! Express Debt Settlement is actually Express Death Settlement!

I signed up to this company in March 2009. The phone calls from bill collectors never stopped until I changed our phone numbers. I informed EDS about the phone calls and faxed all settlement offers from my creditors. I was told to relax. In March of this year I was sued for a little over $2,000.00 (including penalties) account. I was told EDS will take care of it. I already had over $12,000.00 into the program at that time. Six months later, wage garnishment. I expressed my dissatisfaction with the company, I was told to relax. Few months later, more law suits. I was told I had no funds to settle. I already had about $17, 000.00 into the program.

I canceled and demanded for my money back since EDS was incompetent to handle my case. I was threatened by the president of EDS of a lawsuit for harassment and defamation because I had been sending him emails. I was just trying to get my money back so I could pay my debts and keep from bankruptcy. He accused me of default for missing some payments. I had records from NoteWorld and bank account to prove him otherwise. The truth is, whenever I get over time or more work with my second job, I even sent three payments on some months to get ahead.

Thanks Steve for this article. Now it is clear why The president of EDS is so heartless and callous with my plea. My $17,000.00 is just a grain of sand to the truck loads he is used to hauling.

I signed up with Christian Debt Services last year. They in turn, turned over my account to Express Debt Settlement. Simon and Bocksch were supposed to be handling my creditors for settlements. I made my payments into Noteworld (thank goodness that I was in charge in making my payments and not having them taken out of my account!). They DID NOTHING for me and I did all of the work in settling my accounts. What was supposed to take 3 years to less than a year for me to get with my creditors and pay off the settlement. When I called them to complain and told them that it was a waste of money and that I should get a refund since I did ALL OF THE WORK, they said that they would check into it and I have heard nothing back from them. If they are not liscensed as you told another person, how can i go about suing them for misrepresting themselves? DO I have any recourse in getting any of the funds back that I paid in fees?
