Company seems to put out the impression they are a non-profit company but if you read carefully it is their affiliate “ANH” that is the non-profit. ANH is A New Horizon Credit Counseling Services, Inc. out of Deerfield Beach, FL. – Source
Solid Ground says they will help you to “Update or remove negative items from your credit file.” That’s an odd statement to make since that essentially says they do credit repair which, for a fee, is not permitted.
I called Solid Ground Financial and was told that in their debt consolidation plan where they set you up on a debt management plan with ANH the first months payment would be kept by Solid Ground Financial and not go towards repaying your debt.
They also erroneously said that when enrolled your credit score would skyrocket and that they also do debt settlement. No place on their site does it talk about the dangers and disadvantages of debt settlement.
