Be on the look out for an up and coming scam where callers pose as employees of credit card companies and promise you a refund for credit protection insurance you may have paid for. They will ask you for your credit card and banking information in order to process the refund. It’s a scam.
Any legitimate credit card company initiating such a call, as if it would ever happen, would already have your account information on hand and not need to ask you for it.
Currently this scam is operating in the UK but it will be coming to the U.S. and it will snare people.
