Innovative Wealth Builders Review. Scam?

Interesting Points

The website of innovative Wealth Builders is shockingly bare on information and details for a company that wants to take your money and get your financial information. In my opinion it appears to be nothing more than a placeholder site.

I’m an expert in the field of consumer debt and even I can’t figure out what the hell they are trying to sell based on the description on their site.

With today’s economy, every penny you make needs to be spent and invested wisely. That’s where we come in. We want you to feel secure that your money will now start working for YOU! [Doing what?]

This is what everyone wants but is not quite sure how to achieve. We will provide you with an innovative program that will not only reduce your debt obligations but will also provide a strong foundation to build your financial future. [A program of? Maybe a hint would be nice.]

There are not many institutions like Innovative Wealth Builders, Inc. We provide a program that will not damage your credit. Innovative Wealth Builders, Inc. is not a consolidation or credit counseling company. We provide the tools that you will begin to use in order to enhance your credit, save money on your interest payments, and get you out of debt in half the time. Isn’t it nice to know you have someone on your side who understands the value of your hard-earned money?

Our additional services are customized to support every family’s personal needs. We want to be your one-stop financial resource center. [Okay, but what do you do?]

It’s now up to you to take the step to be partnered with our successful financial team and vastly improve the quality of your economic life. – Source

This lack of clarity in what they do makes their series of frequently asked questions, laughable in my opinion. They claim whatever it is they offer won’t hurt your credit, is not debt settlement, is not debt negotiation, and you don’t have to stop using your credit cards. – Source

They currently have call center jobs open. The job listing says:

Call Center
Come work for a company that’s only going up. You can make a difference in people’s lives and your Own! (You really CAN buy happiness!) Cash spiffs! AM and PM shifts. – Source

For a company that is hiring, if they didn’t have something to hide, why is their site so damn vague?

There is a mention of the company purchasing leads from IMGLLC.com but it should be IMGLLC.us. – Source

I once worked at Consumer Financial Advisory Board, and quit because i felt it was a complete scam.  This company was prior called Financial Freedom, and they promise to save consumers thousand by lowering credit card interest rates.  Usually by maxing out however many cards it takes for their crazy fee’s, which of coarse caused much more damage to the customers credit rather than helped.  A couple years ago, I was applying for, yes, another telemarketing job.  There were hardly any jobs at the time, so I had too.  I thought this one was a legit company though. Well, I never ended up working for this company I was ushered into another room when they found I worked for consumer financial adivsory board, annd handed off to another call room, with a different buisness called Innovated Wealth Builders.  Unfortunately I soon learned that they were running a almost identical scheme to Consumer Financial Advisory Board, even their scripts and rebuttels were the same -practically verbatum.  FYI- i quit that job before i signed up any more “victims”.  Since their scripts and rebuttles are identical to consumer financial advisory board, I’m pretty sure they are somehow linked.

OK…I contacted the FL Attorney General, and they already have a case (L10-3-1199) opened on these predators. The judicial system sometimes moves at a glacier’s pace but it was encouraging to see that something is being done to bring these people to justice. I gave them my name and phone number and pledged to provide whatever additional evidence they might need. I am hoping that the lead investigator takes me up on this offer. I am also working with my attorney to put my own civil case together against these people. Hopefully I will get to see the principals of this company in a courtroom, wearing orange jumpsuits, sometime in the not-too-far future.

Just got back from my mother-in-law’s house. She’s a mess…having signed up with this company a year ago and now finally telling me what is going on. They’ve hit her credit cards for over $2100 and have done NOTHING for her. She has repeatedly asked them to stop and they told her that they would, but they do not. I’m going to try to help her get a refund or dispute the charges. BE WARNED: This company has you sign a very broad/dangerous Power of Attorney over to them. These people belong in prison. I am going to make this my personal mission, now.

SIMPLE SIMPLE SIMPLE but they LIES saying the are going to reduce the interest on your credit card so you can pay them off faster. HA! HA! HA!

This company called me today to pitch their “offer”. I did not agree to use their service or have them charge anything to a credit card account. They use extremely high pressure tactics and will not provide ANYTHING in writing. All “agreements” and “guarantees” are oral and recorded. I said “thanks, but no thanks” and hung up. Any company providing services for fees should provide, in writing, an explanation of those services and fees. Clearly this company is hesitant to spell out exactly what services it provides or what it charges to deliver them.

I joined innovative wealth builders in june of “09″ for almost $900. This was to be a one time charge. I was charged again in november for the same amount. They called and told me that charge was reversed the same day. It was. Again in sept. of “2010″ they charged me $800. As of today, it has not been reversed. I was told in the beginning that they could show me how to save at least $3,000. They showed me how to do what I was already doing. Paying more than minimum. WHAT A RIP-OFF. I need to tell the BBB.

They call me when I was at my lowest losing my mother. They told me that I may qualify for a nnew goverment program through the credit bureau because I paid my bill on time. This would ot cost6 me a penny. They with this new program and as a help to the credit card companies would be able to lower my interest rates. I finally did give them a credit card to check to see if I qualified. I gave them a card that I had on a payment plan drafted knowing that this would be safe. The next thing that I know they took $1395 then $799. I called my crdit card company and they told me to send them a letter of termination giving them 15days to replace my money and if they did not refund in 15 days that they would return the money. I call them and asked them why they took my money and they told me that the $799 was in error and that they would refund it. So, far that has not happen. I just loss my mother and I was not competent to do any business at all. I am 64 and legally blind and I need my money back. What else can I do to get my money back. This whole ordeal and the loss of my mother is going to make me have a breakdown. I can not take anymore.

      Jennie,

I’m so sorry to hear of your recent loss and that you were taken advantage of.

It sounds like you gave the company 15 days notice to return the money so contact your credit card company again and dispute the charge.

      Let me know what happens.

      Steve
