DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT sign up with Morgan Drexen. Let me tell you they are easy to believe. The website even looks legit but this is just a way to exploit those who already have money troubles. Do you know that debt that is looming over your head?? Add $1500 to that total. THAT is what Morgan Drexen does. They set up payments per month to pay their $1500 legal fee. They do absolutely nothing for you until you have paid that fee. Once that fee is paid, then and only then do they begin to negotiate for you, or pay any of your bills. Until then your interest rates increase, you accrue late fees and your debt increases even more. Take my advice. The same “low” monthly payment that you make to Morgan Drexen can be made to your creditors. I feel stupid for even falling for this. If you owe Paul $20, why would you pay Peter $15 to take your $20 payment to Paul? Get organized and pay it yourself.

I called to ask them a few questions and the guy i spoke with said i had to do all this stuff to get qualified. Well, i did it. And then the next day $100 was taken out of my account. After the guy had told me they needed my info just to get me qualified for the program. I called back furious. Cancelled myself out and demanded a refund. After saying it would take up to 60 days I let them have it. A week later i checked my account again. $85 more was taken out!!! I called back furious again, and just so happened to speak to the same guy. He cancelled me out and said my file never got canceled the first time. He also stated that he would try to rush the process and get my money back faster than 60days. He said this time it would take up to 7 business days. It has only been 2 days, so we will see if i ever get my money!

i just signed up with them and as i am reading these posts i am getting nervous and scared please tell me this wont happen to me cause i will take some kind of action i have 3 kids and don’t need this right now…

I just talked to to two different people from MD and the first one said that even McDonalds has an F rating with the BBB. The second said that MD doesn’t pay a fee to the BBB to have a rating and that they have been in business for 18 years and that they are not a scam. Red flags if you ask me. 18 years in business but are not accredited, yea, something is gong on that shouldn’t be. I fear for my mom.

  • Meryl

Sorry Guys.. my spelling is off.. my blood pressure is rising. I just found out  where my money was going after thinking I was safe with them.

I am serious regarding CLASS ACTION.. contact me if your interested…

  • Meryl

I think all of here should file a class action suit against these idoits.. Save your money if you are new to this. The first year of payments is just to the attorney then they charge you a maintenance fee just to stay in the progam. They will make you stay in as long as possible to keep collecting your money.. Say it’s 1000 fee + 45 month.. That’s $1540.00 and not one dollar goes to your bills.   STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.. I INTEND ON BRINGING THIS PUBLIC….

Morgan Drexen wants to right the wrong. I wrote a complaint several days ago about my experince with Morgan Drexen. Since that complaint I was contacted by Rachel in public relations sincerely wanting to correct what I felt was wrong doing.  I specified I wanted my money back and was refused.  Since the creditors had told me they never heard from Morgan Drexen I backed out of the program and felt they should refund my money. Received call today from Rachel stating refund is in process.

    • http://GetOutOfDebt.org Steve Rhode

Keep us posted on how that goes. If they refund 100% of your money we should praise them for that.

    • Jonathan Harstad

Your refund will show up when Johnson pays his taxes, Hoffa sends out apology letters, Sr. citizens admit it was the gas pedal they were hitting, not the brake on their Prius, Bush admits it was over oil, Obama admits “No We Can’t” and of course, when my testicles fall off due to my own, performed at home, surgical removal with a spoon… Until then, call every one you can and complain. These people are pieces of shit and don’t care about you, what you think or feel, or about how you think you are entitled to a refund.

I just want to add my 2 cents regarding the disgusting experience I had with Morgan Drexen. They are without a doubt, the worst business I ahve ever dealt with.

hi. dont believe any debt settlement companies that has an f rating on the bbb.. it’s an f for a reason…if at any time a company call’s you or you call them because of their advertisements and they tell you that they can reduce your debt by 50% and give you a low monthly payment you should auomatically walk away.. first of all they say their gona contact your creditors and try to negotiate the debt down…we all know when anything has to do with negotiating the creditors does not have to agree what so ever..especialy chase!!! they dont deal with debt settlement companies at all!!here is an example a true fact.. if you were to let me borrow a thousand dollars and make payments of 50 per month.. and the interest is 10 dollars a month.so 40 goes to the principal(what was borrowed)and ten to you.. and we made an agrement that if i was late than an i would automatically be charged a late fee of 100 dollars..now lets just say i fell behind for 1 year i now owe you 1200 dollars more plus the ten dollar interest per month an extra 120.. but your on the program for more than a year obviously..you do the math.. ask your self this question? if you had an attorney contact me and try to settle this debt. do i have to say yes?of course not. i can easily take you to court and collect my full balance..why would i want to settle… people say one would settle because one would rather get something than nothing.. but heres the catch.. first of all i would lose credibility with you.. even if i paid you half back after all these years. im pretty sure you would never trust me or let me borrow money again..so obviously my credit with you is affected… but with creditors what people dont know.. what ever a debt settlment company saves you. you have to file taxes for the other 50% because its considered earned income.. so now you have to pay taxes.. and your credit is bad.. and worse of all you have paid a 15 to 20% service fee,,which is usually in the thousands… did you really come out saving????remember this.. there is no shortcut.. pay back what you’ve borrowed…dont do something that seems dishonest..creditors will work with you if you do it correctly.. just as friends you borrow from would be understanding..so really between debt settlement and bankruptcy what is the difference…at least bankruptcy is legit.and most of all with bankruptcy if you have nothing left and you have to go that route and your completely broke..at least you wont get harassment phone calls from your creditors..as in debt settlement you will get phone calls day and night… if you truly need help on getting out of debt i can help you as long as you can help yourself.. if you agree with paying back 100% of your debt and pay it on time and never fall behind on your payments.. i can most definitely help you and guide you how to get your APR lowered and eliminate your finance charges and daily compounding interest so that most of your payment goes directly torwards your principal balance… without having a big negative impact on your credit…then email me your current financial situation and your phone number and i will contact you at your earliest convience….my email is “[email protected]”…its an L not an i… bottom line i hate debt settlement companies beacause ive been screwed over.. so ive eduacated myself to work against them and actually really try to help the comsumers and not put them in too deeper debt than they already are… so feel free to email me and i will call you back and give you a free consultaton…..

My husband had some debt that we were having trouble paying so he contacted morgan drexen and decidecd to enroll. I did not want him to do this and was worried. Well after about a year we did settle one card and have 4 more to go. Now in the last week he has recieved two summons saying he is being sued. He told me not to worry because these people told him it was “normal” I’s scared and have considered trying to contact them to try to work out some kind of payment arrangement, but I don’t know if I can even do that at this point. So I have to say DO NOT use this company. I can’t believe what my husband has gotten us into and don’t know if or how I will be able to get us out.

    • John Failla

They screwed me too! Yes, you can and will get sued unless you pay MorganDrexen’s attorneys to help you. They told me not to worry that it was only a scare tactic and that you have their lawyers to help you. Yes, if you pay for the lawyers. I called the company sueing me and explained what was going on and worked out a settlement myself.Unless you do this, you will find yourself in court and pay all the extra charges in the summons. The actions MorganDrexen told me to take such as hanging up on my debtors got me sued and they did not come to my rescue. They are a scam. Stay away from this company.

When I signed up with Morgan Drexen I also thought that I would get more into debt. With late fees and charges, piling up I was getting more and more nervous. I signed up for the 3-year program and I got out of the program in whopping 18 months. Therefore, I only did half of the term with low and affordable monthly payment.

My debt was a little over $9000. If I kept paying only minimum monthly payments, I would end up paying over $13000 in interest and would not be able to pay my debt off for the next 30 years.

After 18 months, I only paid $3400 and my debt was settled and paid off. That has included all the fees. I thought that was a great deal.

hi lynda. dont believe any det settlement companies that has an f rating on the bbb.. it’s an f for a reason…if at any time a company call’s you or you call them because of their advertisements and they tell you that they can reduce your debt by 50% and give you a low monthly payment you should auomatically walk away.. first of all they say their gona contact your creditors and try to negotiate the debt down…we all know when anything has to do with negotiating the creditors does not have to agree what so ever..especialy chase!!! they dont deal with debt settlement companies at all!!here is an example a true fact.. if you were to let me borrow a thousand dollars and make payments of 50 per month.. and the interest is 10 dollars a month.so 40 goes to the principal(what was borrowed)and ten to you.. and we made an agrement that if i was late than an i would automatically be charged a late fee of 100 dollars..now lets just say i fell behind for 1 year i now owe you 1200 dollars more plus the ten dollar interest per month an extra 120.. but your on the program for more than a year obviously..you do the math.. ask your self this question? if you had an attorney contact me and try to settle this debt. do i have to say yes?of course not. i can easily take you to court and collect my full balance..why would i want to settle… people say one would settle because one would rather get something than nothing.. but heres the catch.. first of all i would lose credibility with you.. even if i paid you half back after all these years. im pretty sure you would never trust me or let me borrow money again..so obviously my credit with you is affected… but with creditors what people dont know.. what ever a debt settlment company saves you. you have to file taxes for the other 50% because its considered earned income.. so now you have to pay taxes.. and your credit is bad.. and worse of all you have paid a 15 to 20% service fee,,which is usually in the thousands… did you really come out saving????remember this.. there is no shortcut.. pay back what you’ve borrowed…dont do something that seems dishonest..creditors will work with you if you do it correctly.. just as friends you borrow from would be understanding..so really between debt settlement and bankruptcy what is the difference…at least bankruptcy is legit.and most of all with bankruptcy if you have nothing left and you have to go that route and your completely broke..at least you wont get harassment phone calls from your creditors..as in debt settlement you will get phone calls day and night… if you truly need help on getting out of debt i can help you as long as you can help yourself.. if you agree with paying back 100% of your debt and pay it on time and never fall behind on your payments.. i can most definitely help you and guide you how to get your APR lowered and eliminate your finance charges and daily compounding interest so that most of your payment goes directly torwards your principal balance… without having a big negative impact on your credit…then email me your current financial situation and your phone number and i will contact you at your earliest convience….my email is “lphufinednetwork.com”…its an L not an i… bottom line i hate debt settlement companies beacause ive been screwed over.. so ive eduacated myself to work against them and actually really try to help the comsumers and not put them in too deeper debt than they already are… so feel free to email me and i will call you back and give you a free consultation…..
