I am filing a complaint against Freedom Financial Network AKA Freedom Debt Relief. We signed with them in May 2009 and terminated there service in March 2010. We paid them $1837 a month for 10 months on a timely basis. This is a total of $18370.00 and out of that they collected $9255.68 in fees. This is what happened: They settled two accounts for higher balances than what we started with, Chase sued us, FFN gave us a payment schedule for Chase and failed to make a payment in March and put us in final judgement with them, they settled one of the accounts with a company and promised them money that was never going to be available in the account to pay them, our credit report is ruined. And we paid for all of this to happen. We are in worse shape than before. FFN is trying to settle with us, but if we sign anything we cannot tell anyone what happened to us, we are not signing anything with them. We are currently filing a chapter 13 in the state we live in, because we have no other options. We take full responsibility for our debt and went to Freedom Financial Network for help to solve our issues. I have legal paperwork to back up all of my claims against the. I have using your site to help get information about debt settlement companies and how to report the consumer fraud that happened to us. We have been scammed out of $9255.68! Thank you for your time in advance.
