Hello, after reading your advice on this website, I felt I should try applying for debt consolidation through LendingClub but I was denied which was heartbreaking to me. I have a good credit with credit score of over 700 but I was unable to get approved. I take my credit seriously but I just fell on hard times with my debts, is there any way you can possibly help me or any other advice that you may have for me?. I really need to put all my debts in one and make one monthly payment, please me steve if you can. I was thinking about the BOA debt consolidation but after reading all the horrible comments from people, I have lost hope with them, thanks a million.

Well our loan was fully funded, but I found our’s took longer because it was A1 and thus the lowest interest rate. I guess investors were looking for higher rates of return. They require that you set up automatic withdrawl, so I set it up for an account that I can always make sure has the required funds as there are no debit cards on the account. Our first payment will be taken out on Monday. Thanks for all the help. We paid off the high interest credit card when the funds were deposited into our account. So far so good!

Please do keep me posted. I’m glad I was able to be one of the investors in your LendingClub.com loan.

How would you rate the overall process so far?

Thanks Steve! And thanks to anyone else who has funded the loan by finding it on this site. Wish I knew how many of your readers have/will become our funders! Applying through Lending Club was quick and easy. I have received two questions from interested investers on LC; had to fax paystubs; and sent company contact information so they can verify employment. We were given an “A1″ rating so we got the lowest rate, but some investers will be drawn to other loans with lower ratings and therefore higher interest rates. We applied over the weekend and are already funded over 20% and today is just Tuesday. Will keep you posted. Thanks for believing in us Steve!
