    ACH stands for automated clearing house, a network that electronically processes money and is the way payday loans debit the money from your account. All payday loan lender need to know is your bank routing number and your account number. To stop electronic withdrawals from your account you must revoke ACH debit authorization and wage assignment agreement from all payday lenders you borrow cash from. You have to do it quickly by sending certified letters with return receipt to each and every one of them. Otherwise you may be looking for trouble as some banks have a policy allowing them to force open closed accounts if any ACH transactions go through within a certain time frame after the account is closed. So you may end up owing a your legal bank quite a bit of money. Bank would report you to ChexSystems, and as you can read here, it is rather bad. Check with your bank branch manager on their policy.

    If you can not close your account, talk to with the Branch Manager in person and request a hard debit block placed on your account immediately. Explain that you are revoking ACH debit authorizations from illegal payday loan lenders and know these lenders have been ignoring revocations, so it is vital to block any withdrawal attempts on your account.

    Here is general letter to revoke ACH debit authorization / wage assignment agreement. Modify it as you see fit.

    Attach this quote from Electronic Funds Transfer Act in the end,

    907. Preauthorized transfers

I’m glad that Advantage CCCS has moved away from using live animal ‘actors’, it is an unethical practice that needs to be stopped on a much larger scale, so thank you for taking that step. Best of luck with your marketing campaign, I think it is a well thought out idea and the puppet does a much better job of getting your point across.

    i like the *idea*, but the obviously fake monkey conveys the point way better than the real monkeys.
    Sorry, this is a very touchy subject for me.
    The real monkeys used in the commercials are ripped away from their moms when only hours old and are forced to perform. They need to be ripped away because there is no way a mother would give up her infant naturally without her own life being taken as well, so the breeders knock her out and take the screaming infant. Often they’ll have their canine teeth ripped out, their fingernails removed and males are castrated so that they can perform for as long as possible. Behind the scenes they are beaten with a steel pipe wrapped in a newspaper, so that on the set the trainer only needs the newspaper rolled up to strike fear into the animals. The ones in these videos are baboons, which I have personally worked with. An adult baboon weighs around 80 lbs and have 3″ long razor sharp canines. The ones in the videos are babies. When they’re done with their performing career, they can’t be placed in a zoo because they don’t know how to act like a real monkey, so instead are often sold into biomedical research or dumped into a breeding facility. That’s if they’re lucky and both of those options would have them living out the remainder of their life in (at best) a 5×5 ft cage with no social interaction. They live for 30 years, only *maybe* 5 of which can be spent acting. In the wild they would live in rich social communities, where females will remain with their family for life. They get none of that when being forced into the slavery of performing, all just so us stupid humans can point and laugh. Funny, maybe. Ethical, absolutely not.
    I’m a big fan of this site, but these ads make me sick. You’d think that as the ‘higher primates’ we would be better than this, but I guess not :( CCCS Advantage should be applauded for using a stuffed monkey in some of their ads, but they should discontinue the ones with live animals. It doesn’t convey the point as well and it only promotes the worst of human behavior.
