I am an attorney in NY. My client pay $40,000 to this company and has not received anything in return. When he finally stopped paying them, they claimed that he breached his agreement, so they do not owe him a refund of any sort and will not apply the “escrow” monies to resolve any of his outstanding debt.

SCAM, they took my dying mothers money and completely ripped her off. My mom died April 24th of this year knowing she was scammed and never received a resolution! Grace Keen Maier may you rot in Hell!

It is a Freud and a scam company. Everyone need to get in touch with the Attorney General Office in Kentucky and in Indiana. They are truly a rip off. They have not paid any of my debtors off and I had been with them since March 2010. I even over paid because I was suppose to have been finished in December 2011, but did not realize it until July 2012. They will not return my calls at all.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!  Run as fast as  you can away from them!  They charge WAY to much to help settle debt.  Then they don’t do it.  It’s impossible to get in contact with them, my account has been with three different people, and when I do get in touch with someone they can NEVER give me any answers.  I’m always told, “I’ll get back to you.”  I NEVER (not once) hear back.  So far I’ve incruded more fees due to attorney’s charges because one of my creditors sued me.  I should have saved money on my own, and dealt with my creditors on my own.  I probably would be out of debt by now if I did this.  Instead, I’m even more in the hole!  Seriously, RUN AWAY!!!!

DROA / Financial Assistance is a Scam. Do not continue paying them. Stop your payment asap. Call the attorney generals office in louisville Kentucky so you can get your money back.

Financial Assistance Group is Debt Restructuring of America. I can tell you, as a previous client, the company did not pay the settlements I agreed to and kept giving me different reasons why it was not “their fault” and was someone else’s. I was with them when they were Bruce Atherton & Associates, also. When they changed their name again and I started having creditors call to inform me that my settlements were not being paid even though I had plenty of money in escrow, I finally started to see something was wrong. I terminated my contract and still have not received my refund. I just hope someone somewhere will see this company for what it really is….a fraud.

I agree.  Heck, I represented one of their “clients” in a litigation matter.  I resolved it very quickly on fantastic terms only to have Financial Assistance Group drop the ball not once but four times.  They finally paid the creditor two months late but I was never paid for representing their client in court (75 miles each way from my office).
