Consumer Statement: Precept Financial offered to negotiate settlement terms on our behalf. They instructed us to pay them money up front while stopping our payments to our creditors. They instructed us to send all creditor letters to them. After making payments to them for about a year. They negotiated a settlement for one of our five vendors. After that, they did nothing. They don’t answer phones; they don’t return phone calls; they don’t respond to faxes; they just do nothing.

Now a debt collector is suing us and we don’t know what to do.

Note: A check of the website simply results in a blank page. The BBB says it appears the company is no longer in business. – Source. A search of bankruptcy filings did not identify that Precept Financial Solutions has filed for bankruptcy. It looks like they have just fallen off the radar. is owned by:

They also indicate the corporation is not in good standing so it appears they have wandered out of business and left the consumer stranded. You may want to click here to find a local bankruptcy attorney to stop the lawsuit and discharge the debt.
