Real Estate Law Center, PC Consumer Complaint 10 11 2011

Consumer Statement:

I’ve received two 1012-R forms from “The Real Estate Law Center PC” at 30 N Raymond Ave. #PH, Pasadena, CA 91103. i live in Las Vegas and know many, many people are getting these in the mail. Reading the form, it’s obvious this has all the signs of “scammi-ness”. I found this is the address used by Chad Pratt. Having reported this on your site, is there another place to report this that can stop this guy from trying to take $$$ from people who are desperate? I’m not in foreclosure, am not behind on any payments, but know many people who are desperate enough to give this scummy, scammy guy money to help them.

Note:

None.

This could be a perfectly legitimate deal. There are a few other firms doing the same type of suit that are completely above board. How else can a normal person, already having trouble paying their mortgage afford to sue their bank, other than through a class action, where they would be lucky to get a few hundred dollars. People that know nothing about litigation should not comment on this! Check it out–get their case number, and pull it up.

Allan Chance and Thierry Faison are the names of people who claimed to help me. They attempted to steal my personal info. and never contacted me again. Their address is 695 South Vermont Avenue, Suite 1100,
    Los Angeles, Ca 90005.  telephone # (213) 382-3250
I hope the FBI finds them.

    • Concerned HomeOwner

I was recently contacted by a Garrett Sean and her referred me to the Better Business Bureau rating of a A+.  I haven’t accused them of being a scam, but all of the comments that I am seeing has me worried.  I definitely will not send any money at all.  Has anyone been helped by this company?

Concerned Homeowner that is currently underwater and would like a principal reducation with Wells Fargo it that is even possible.

      • Very concerned

Hi, I can’t vouch for this company as I haven’t used them yet but I did speak to their head lawyer today, Jaime. And Patricia. They have the largest mass joinder lawsuit against Wells Fargo currently. They seem legit and I trusted their integrity and actually this website has a positive posting that corrects a negative. You can go see here by searching for UFAN. United Foreclosure Attorney Network. Maybe you can call them and see what you think but I had a good feeling about them.

      • Very concerned

I want to make it clear that I’m speaking about UFAN and not the law firm discussed here. I spoke to UFAN today and had a good feeling about them…

I was contacted and after I told them I was hip to fraud scams… he was no longer willing to be so helpful… He told me to get a hold of my states congressman and make an appointment to complain and I was disconnected…

I got the same scam-like form and looks like it’s an advertisement, misleading advertisement. I found the following information based on the website domain registration:

It is important to note that the “scam-like” form is a perfectly legal form of advertising, cleared first with the California Bar Association.
Also, what exactly did you find misleading in the letter? Every statement within is accurate and clear.
I would be more than happy to explain, should you have any further questions, concerns or comments.
