Consumer Statement:

I was just reading all the posts regarding 501c3 debt relief. I received a letter in the mail with no company name but called anyway. I gave information to a man named Chad Comfort who worked with “National Benefits Division”. After doing so I immediately realized how stupid I was for falling for this scam and started looking online for anything I could find regarding the company. I clicked on a company mentioned in one of your posts called “Consumer Benefits Division”. Google both National Benefits Division and Consumer Benefits Division. They have different names and the sites are “colored” differently…..information is EXACTLY the same! I put a freeze on all three of my husband and my credit reports…..what else do I do?

Consumer Action Taken:

I haven’t paid anything out of pocket but they have my social security number and credit card information. I plan to cancel my cards tomorrow and have placed a freeze on our credit reports.


We sent a letter to the company at the address given by the consumer and asked them to publicly respond to this complaint.
