Consumer Statement:
i paid $1,600 to legal helpers in miami florida on 7/28/2008 and i have proof of my paying on such acct 1017168 to file chapter 7. however, i was able to resolve my problem, thereby, was not forced to submit a file for chapter 7.
The unfortunate matter is that i have not been able to receive any of my money paid into a service with legal helpers, that was not serviced or filing of chp.7.
when i spoke to Macy’s law firm, no one knows who, what when or why, otherwise, their a__ from a hole in the ground.(sorry, but they have gotten me extremely upset.)(the attached was generated originally from legal helpers in sept.2008 informing me that i had an outstanding balance of 1500.00. i phoned them and also emailed a copy of my reciept to which i paid acct in full in 7/2008. i continued to receive letters telling me my acct needed to be paid. no record or documentation ever seemed to exist.)
Consumer Action Taken:
i have phoned, mailed and emailed previous numbers and emails from former legal helpers, the attorney by the name of Adel estopinan, but received no response. as well contacted macy’s law firm, again, CLUELESS and unworthy trusting individuals when colling on the phone. also, macy’s sent me a letter informing me that i was also responsible for an increase fee in reference to my filing chapter seven?? upon calling, i spoke to a representative regarding this matter, however, i received no solution or refund of my cash. in reference to the date scammed, i began and paid my amount of $1,600(100 in cash and 1,500 via check.) but my case had not closed ,yet i think it closed alright, into someone else’s bankacct, coz, macy’s law shows no record, yet i received this letter of paying a fee increase due to chp.7 filing cost..
