I just found out about the Consumer Law Group in Florida being investigated. I asked for help from this company and had to pay between $1500.00 and $2000.00 up front besides paying them a fee each month.

I just dropped out of the program.

    I just was able to pay most all off my credit card debts to mutilpe well known Bank Companies.  I have been mislead by from day one by the CLG.  What reasonable human could deduce that the “Consummer Law Group” had zero legal services.  The truth is they prey(ed) on Americans some of whom tried everything to keep their homes when the Housing Market (Values) went down so fast it was impossible to refinance.  I got caught in this situation like millions of other folks. Not only did I loose my new home but my life savings after 31 years protecting the public.  I can not write how I feel.  I can not light that flair!  Pathetic seems appropriate at best.  This is Financial Cannabilism.  My adult children now have the bit in their mouths along with every other young adult.  I have lost faith in what we can do on earth with some of these Vultures.

      Besides Ran Barnea, another key person involved in these phony debt management companies is Dan Post. These companies (e.g., American Debt Negotiators, BMV Debt Management Corporation, American Credit Counselors, The Consumer Law Group) are responsible for a lot of the Card Member Services Robocalls from spoofed numbers. The Missouri and Florida Attorneys General are suing these individuals and companies, among others. If you feel Mr. Post should put a stop to this abuse of the Do Not Call Registry, I suggest calling him at home at 561-451-2009 in the evening. His wife Shari, also listed in the corporation filings for some entities, will answer the phone. I am sure she would be happy to convey your messages.
