    I placed an order online to have some items sent to a family member in another state than where I live. My family member did not received the items and the postal service sent the items back to the warehouse. When I received my billing for that month. Ashley Stewart had credit back to my Ashley Stewart account all of it except for postage and finance charges. Mine you, there wasn’t anything charge to my account except for the items I had just purchased.
    I try calling them for two weeks to inquire why I didn’t received the full credit. Since I did not received the items. I called the credit department and they said that they could give me any information why I did not received full credit that I had to call customer service for Ashley Stewart.
    I called customer service and could not obtain anyone to speak with. I was on hold for over 30 minutes and then I was cut off. This happen twice. I then decide to leave a message. I received a message that the inbox was full.
    My last resort was to go back on the internet and hope that I could find a number where I could contact someone at Ashley Stewart. I end up chatting live on the internet.
    The agent preceed to tell me that as courtsey they would credit back to my account the amount but it would take 1 to 2 billing cycles to see it on my account. In the mean time this show on my credit report that I did not pay my bill timely. (Why would this be a courtsey when I did not received the items that I had ordered.) I don’t understand that concept!
    I have had problems with the credit department with Ashley Stewart since I open this account. I do not recommend anyone to charge anything on ashley credit card because they do not honor their customer.
    I am not a negligent customer. I pay my bills on time!
