After two years of trying to get a loan Modification from BofA the only thing my attorney and I have recieved is frustration. I have a file with many notices and just as many excuses for declining. In  this situation the Homeowner’s are on their own.  What’s amazing is that an article that appeared in the NY Times last week in which the newspaper reports that the Feds are forcing Bankd, BofA included, to reduced loans for homeowners foreclosed on or are about to be, by using $25-billion.and I haven’t seen on TV or heard on the radio a report on this by any of he major networks.  BofA and all the other major lenders that will be affected by this decision feel that when  the 200,000 chosen clients receive this letter they will feel that it’s a scam and perhaps too good to be true and most likely throw the letter in the garbage, thus not participating.   L.oscar
