DebtPro123 – Consumer Complaint – 8-6-2012

Consumer Statement:

We began a debt settlement program with Debt Pro 123 in September 2010, with the understanding that we would have a certain amount taken from our bank account monthly, and after a few months, they would contact our creditors and settle our accounts for less than the full amount owed. We were told that our debt would be eliminated by August 2013. So far, they have collected almost $20,000 from us, with no settlement results.

Consumer Action Taken:

I have called Debt Pro numerous times and talked to the customer service reps (who do not speak fluent English & do not understand English). I have asked to speak to an account manager or “debt negotiator”; then they have to schedule an appointment time for someone to call me & most of the time, I get no call back. They do not communicate with us. We have no idea what is going on with our money. They do not send us copies of any transactions or account information.
