“Hi Steve, for now i can reveal myself as Remle for various reasons, I have been unemployed for more than two years now due to my previous company’s decision to put me in jail. I would call it an entrapment, landed in jail and served for three months here in the U.A.E. My case is about bounce check.
My question is, Is there a way for me to solve these problem since up to now I still have present case with the Banks. The law here in this Country states that anyone can be jailed by not paying your credit cards/debts and bankcruptcy law doesn’t exist here.
This is the reason why my previous company terminated me due to bank policy and strict adherance to their law, a law which only favors the locals and excludes all expatriates from due process of law.
Kindly advise if time permits, I really need to know if there is a chance for me to get out of debt in this country. I am willing to work and settle with the banks or start all over again, but unless the banks drop the cases against me, I wont be able to renew my visa and passport and can’t get back to work again. I have been suffering for a long time now,my children are suffering,we hardly make both ends meet due to my incapacity to help my wife financially.
Thank you for your time in reading my complicated case.
You are correct, new debt resolution programs developed in the UAE are only for citizens.
The reality is that unless you can negotiate a resolution with the banks you can afford, one real option is to flee the country before your arrest, again.
