National Consumer Advocates – NCA – Consumer Complaint – 10–10-2012

Consumer Statement:

I paid Blake Goldberg of NCA about $1200 to help with my credit card situation. I also sent him $4000 to settle with one of the creditors. He claims that he paid them but they never received the money and now, he won’t return my money, my calls or emails.

Consumer Action Taken:

Mr. Goldberg was hired by the Bradford Law Firm of Bloomfield, Colorado in June of 2011. My case was handed over to him even though I had a contract with the Bradford Law Firm. He represented himself as my Attorney in Fact but is not an attorney. I contacted the Colorado Supreme Court Attorney Regulation Counsel about the matter. After providing them with the facts, they decided that Brad Daybell, the attorney, did nothing wrong since he refunded my money (the part that received) but will investigate Mr. Goldberg for unlawfully representing himself as an attorney. Mr. Daybell has not been able to contact or locate Mr. Goldberg since July of 2012.
