Trying to consolidate credit cards need advice on a consolidation company.
My husband and I are trying to consolidate his credit cards to lessen the interest rates and hopefully pay off the credit cards a lot sooner then by paying each credit card company individually. We are looking into In Charge Debt Solutions ( www.incharge.org ) and wondering if that is a good one to go with or if there is another company anyone has used or personally recommends. all help is appreciated!! Thanks in advance.
InCharge Debt Solutions has been around for a while and if you decided to go with them for your credit counseling or debt management plan program I’m sure they could collect your payment and distribute it to your credits as efficiently as anyone.
Really the underlying issue here is if a credit counseling program is even the right strategy based on your situation. There are ways to pay off cards sooner without closing them in a credit counseling program if just a more efficient payoff is what you are looking for.
I’d suggest you first read How to Get Out of Debt.
