Consumer Statement:
I was looking for work and received a call from Universal Marketing & Training about a business to work from home on either a part or full-time basis. I told them I was not interested at the time. They called back and by that time I was working but looking for something part time because of having to take a pay cut with my new job.
The representative I spoke with described a business that would offer a significant opportunity but not so good that it would be unrealistic. I agreed to pay the charge for the initial marketing package and start-up, however never recieved anything in the mail. I was to receive a call from my personal coach and I did receive this call, however when he learned I was not willing to give another $1000 to $1500 he transferred my account to a different coach. I never received any contact from this second coach.
Since that time I have been trying to get back in touch with the company and have not been able to get in touch with anyone. I have 2 numbers that are constantly busy, 1 number that does not ring, and 1 number that goes to a mailbox that is full. I have Sent 2 e-mails (different contacts), and 1 fax. So far no luck.
