Financial Assistance Group – Consumer Complaint – December 10, 2012

Consumer Statement:

I have$3,4xx.00 money in escrow and I have repeatedly asked to have it returned. Grace Keen Maier has fell off the planet and so has everyone else at the office. Everytime I call I get a voice message stating the all voice mailboxes are full. Grace Keen Maier will not return my emails requesting the return of my money in escrow. I called 2 times and asked to speak with Kimberley Gordon, President of Company in March and she would not return my call. They have my money and ran for the hills. They have changed the name of their corporation 3 times, and my legal representation was changed several times as well.

Consumer Action Taken:

I have sent repeated emails to Grace Keen Maier, and attempted to speak with her or Kimberley Gordon but no one is answering my emails or the phone. I have retained a lawyer and they are not responding to his request to return my money held in escrow.

I wanted to let every one know the name of this scam company too and its players. Financial Assistance Group of Kentucky 502-384-4301, President Kimberely Gordon ext 232, Grace has left the building and has been replaced by Ashley Pruitt ext 229. Please be aware they will take your money and run!!!

Steve, I spoke to Ashley Pruitt today and she tried to transfer me to good old Kimberely Gordon President of this scam. Ashley was unable to transfer(imagine that) so she told me to call Kim directly. Well put your surprise face on, Gordon’s voicemail is full! After calling Ashley over 25 times I finally got her to answer from a number she was not familiar with. Ashley told me she is new and can not help me, told me to call Kim and hung up on me. Ashely’s number is 1-502-384-4301 ext 229, if anyone would like to keep calling and harassing her with me please feel free to do so. I attend on calling her everyday just for fun. I look at it this way if I can not recoup my deceased mom’s money I can at least have fun with this! Mom was a Gold Star mother who lost a son in Viet Nam in 1969, my brother was only 19 at the time of his death so I figure I owe it to her to see this through. Filed a complaint with the Kentucky Attorney Generals Office back in September and have heard nothing from them either. Left messages with them with no return phone call. Sad story!!!

Steve, thinking of my mother today I decided to call the Financial Assistance Group just to see if I could get someone on the phone, incredibly after months of unanswered left messages i spoke to a REAL human named Ashley. She informed me that Grace is no longer with the company and she would speak to Kim Gordon who I have spoken to in the past so I’m not holding my breath on this but Ashley assured me she would call me back to let me know something. I will keep you posted.

Please let me know what happens.

I too have been scammed by Grace and her company. My mother was using this company to restructure her debt. In April of this year my mother passed away. I contacted Grace and luckily spoke to her ONCE and she advised me that my mother’s escrow of over $2K would be returned to her estate. I never heard back from her or her company. I filled a complaint with the Attorney General’s office of Kentucky and I am awaiting a reply from them. How can Grace sleep at night stealing from a dead woman!
