I’m looking to file a chapter 13. I have to do this to save my house and get my payments back on track. Since July of this year I have met with a few different bankruptcy lawyers but I may go with Barilla law they have a fair price but I notice you had some articles on he and his firm or firms. Can you help me understand what the best route is 7 or 13?? I found this link to http://www.courts.ca.gov/opinions/nonpub/G045493.PDF
Only you can decide if you want to use the services of attorney Frank Barilla to file bankruptcy. If it would be helpful at all, I do publish a couple of guides to help people check out any debt relief company they may consider using.

There are two attorneys licensed in California under the name Frank Barilla and I don’t know specifically which one you might be talking about. You can search for information from the State Bar of California, here.
When you are considering your selection of a bankruptcy attorney, you should consider shopping using a number of criteria. One of those might be price and that’s completely understandable. But also factor in your “gut” reaction into the equation. The most important factor for me is that you feel comfortable with whoever you pick and have a good open channel of communications with the attorney and their office.
You seem to have already met with attorneys in your area but if you want to see if there is someone else in your area to meet with, you can click here to find a local bankruptcy attorney.
