I Am a Washington State Client of Lloyd Ward Group. – Dave

“Dear Steve,

I used Lloyd Ward Group to settle 6 unsecured credit card debts. I was charged approximently $4,500 for a $15,000 debt settlement.

I live in Washington State. Are there any rules for the amount I should have been charged by the firm? I am unable to locate any information. I am refering to the article you published about CT sueing the firm for refund of fees.

Thank you.

Dave”

The Answer

Dear Dave,

As I remember there is a State of Washington law firm that was dealing with this specific issue. You might want to contact them and discuss your specific situation.

You can click the link to contact The Scott Law Group.

I believe they are the firm with the most experience with State of Washington issues and could best provide you with legal advice.

Please post your responses and follow-up messages to me on this in the comments section below.
