We have been sending money to Good Shepherd for a few years now and they have actually helped us clear two of our debts. But we two more and I cannot get anyone to answer the phone or return an email. We now have one of those debts that has gone to court and we are being sued.
What can we do about it? Should I stop the payments to them? Is there any recourse that I an do?
Judging from this recent consumer complaint about them I think they closed up shop.
To stop the lawsuits you can work out a solution with the creditors yourself or file bankruptcy.
