“Dear Steve,
Even though, my credit is bad, I do have some good credit references. Everytime I apply for a consolidation loan, or whatever I am always turned down I know my score is bad but they always need that credit report.
How can you help, a consumer even though there credit report is bad?
Connie”
The Answer:
Dear Connie,
If your credit report is bad you have to work to make it better. The way you do that is by getting a copy of your consolidated credit report and order the credit score with it. This consolidated credit report is the same one that I use as well.
When you print out your consolidated credit report with the credit score option you will see specific information about steps and actions you need to take to increase your score.
If you follow those directions, your credit score will go up.
You need to know that while you might have some good credit items on your report, not all items are created equal. Paying a gym membership, a store card or a gas card on time does not do much to help you. Neither does a loan from a bank or a car loan.
It does not really matter what might be good on your credit report as long as there is unresolved bad stuff being reported about you.
Get the consolidated credit and clean up the mess once and for all.
