This is terrible advice! Debt is evil and will eat you alive. Paying the minimum is exactly what the credit card companies want you to do so that you can be under their thumb for the next 15 years! For wise counsel see Dave Ramsey and listen to his radio and TV show!

good advice! It can seem counter-intuitive for sure but the banking system as a whole can seem that way at times (especially these times!).
