The Answer

Dear Laura,

The amount of debt is not the critical issue, it is how is it impacting your life that is the key.

Debt in the UK is overcome just like it is in the U.S., with intervention, hard work or a combination of the two approaches.

The fundamental building blocks of debt elimination are to increase your income or to reduce your expenses.

In the UK you have several ways of dealing with debt but based on your relative low level of debt I think the Debt Relief Order might be your best solution. It will cost you about £100 for a Debt Relief Order but it will discharge your debt.

Big Hug!
