Meyhi El Dien is a 31-year-old man who lives in the southern suburbs of Lebanon with his wife and their two children. Meyhi El Dien has been working as a car repairman for eleven years. He also takes care of the car interiors. He requested a loan of 1000 US dollars from Al Majmoua in order to purchase tools for his work. This is the first time that Meyhi El Dien has requested a loan.
Meyhi El Dien is special in his work because he does it well and he does a professional job. His clients can be anybody, but mainly his friends and neighbors. When he first started his business, he had difficulty finding the proper place to open his garage. Meyhi El Dien decided on doing his business because he has experience in this field. In the future, he plans on expanding his business.
The reason I give money to Kiva to help people all over the world in disadvantaged places is so we can give someone an opportunity to start a small business so they can care for their family and become self-sufficient.
