Im sick and tired of being sick and tired need a job desperately cause SSD payments are not enough, Cant buy food,power, water,phone, medicines, etc. other than SSD payment wife works part time only job she can get, were about to loose home, car, sanity etc.

How does a severely physically disabled adult return to woks after having been out of the work force for a great number of years. ? ( used the time to return to school have two degrees. yet still cant find a job.

    Sounds like a tough spot Paul. Not sure if you got any advanced degrees (such as a Master’s) but if you did, you could look at adjunct teaching either in the classroom or online.

    In this economy jobs are tough to come by. The best way to find a job now is through networking, and I mean constantly. Contact everybody you know and follow up, follow up and follow up. In the mean time, perhaps your wife can pick up a second part time job, although this adds burden to her.

    Also check out usajobs.gov to see if there are any federal opportunities in your area. There are also oportunities to write online articles for sites like Suite101.com, etc. but this is something that would take a lot of time and energy to start building up a small amount of monthly income. You could get exposure which could lead to more writing opportunities. Hopefully others will add more advice to this post. Good luck.
