My Photo of the Day – The San Juan Convergence

One of my greatest joys, is my photography. It is something that I love to do. It is an extremely personal part of me that I thought I’d share with you.

Even if you are facing difficult financial times, find something you love to do as well. Read my previous post “Don’t Let Your Debt Consume Your Life. Take Advantage of Free Beauty Around You” for more information about this philosophy.

So here is what I liked about this shot, activity.

This photo is best viewed large to catch all the detail.

If you look to the far left you can see a guy on a scooter racing in. The guy on the motorcycle is stuck waiting for the cars to settle their traffic jam. The guy on the bottom is gesturing to car and his shadow is interesting. Electric lines hang above and the ancient fort can be seen in the right side of the frame with an old guard outpost hanging from the wall. A group of people is waiting by an open door to purchase something and a guy is walking across the street. The building under the satellite dish is missing its roof.

Did I missing anything else that stands out to you?

By the way, in order to take this picture I had to stand on the very edge of another wall of that fort. A higher wall at that. Yes, it did freak me out a bit but I thought the picture was worth it.
