I got enrolled in their own debt management program. You just have to be honest, tell them the truth about your financial hardships. Yes, they will listen, of course, this is not a quick fix. They also debited my checking account, but I know it goes directly to the principal amount. If I pay extra, I'm debt free in less than 3 years. Good luck to you.
