Pam and I are going to set off on a tour of places that have been hard hit by unemployment, foreclosure, or bankruptcy. It looks like we’ll be on the road in August and just observing and recording as we go.
Years ago I did a cross country tour of America to interview people about their credit and debt concerns. I went from Washington, DC to San Diego but this time I think we’ll hit the West Virginia, Pennsylvania, New York, Rhode Island, and Maine areas.
The goal is to play it by ear but I’m going to use the AP Economic Stress Index map to plot our course as we go.
So into the planning stages I go.
