The number of days that you will serve in prison will depend on the amount of money your borrowed from them and will depend on the judgement of the court. By serving term, one is not clearing their debt but is 'paying' for this. You still owe the money you borrowed from the bank. If it was only the criminal case and time in jail, I am pretty sure that there would be a thousand people in Dubai who would be willing to borrow huge sums for a few days in jail; especially those who are used to getting in and out of jail. It might be a good idea to ask them about it. Unfortunately I've seen this same situation many times. Unless the creditor puts the offer in writing someone will later come back and say there is not such deal. It's a collection trick. Thursday(Jan 19,2012) CID came to his workplace and pick him up. He has an outstanding cc balance with FGB for 18k dhs. 6 months ago he tried negotiating everyday with FGB if they can give him resettlement, since 900dhs is the minimum he pays for almost 2 years and his balance never decrease anyway so why not settle for a repayment plan instead. Finally during that time he was able to speak with a lady from FGB and advised him  they can give him a resettlement if he pays 3.5k and the succeeding months would only be 500dhs...So, he paid 3.5k & paid them 500 per month, then one day another collector from FGB called him and said he is not paying the min 900 dhs.. My fiance told them that they gave him a resettlement and he only needs to pay 500dhs. Guess what, this FGB collector is saying that they cancelled it. We asked the collector how much is his balance and it came up to 19.5k, so what happened to the first 3.5k & succeeding 500 we paid he said to the collector. The collector only responded it was for the interest only. To my fiance's dismay, he didnt pay his monthly due with FGB. Since last september 2011 he stopped paying his FGB card. Ofcourse collectors kept on calling him. He always advised the collectors, he would only pay if they can give a written repayment plan for him or atleast what they call "installment shots" but they always insisted to pay the minimum first then they will give him. Since they filed a case against him yesterday now he is in jail. I asked the police last night on what will happen, what would be the requirements of his release. The police told me that if he can provide his passport or someone else then they can release him. I tried to give my passport but they dont accept female passport. They said if a friend of his (man) then they can release him. Now, I am coordinating with my fiance's employer if they could release his passport immediately, but since it's weekend, we will have to wait. Finally during that time he was able to speak with a lady from FGB and advised him  they can give him a resettlement if he pays 3.5k and the succeeding months would only be 500dhs…So, he paid 3.5k & paid them 500 per month, then one day another collector from FGB called him and said he is not paying the min 900 dhs.. My fiance told them that they gave him a resettlement and he only needs to pay 500dhs. Guess what, this FGB collector is saying that they cancelled it. We asked the collector how much is his balance and it came up to 19.5k, so what happened to the first 3.5k & succeeding 500 we paid he said to the collector. The collector only responded it was for the interest only. To my fiance’s dismay, he didnt pay his monthly due with FGB.

Since last september 2011 he stopped paying his FGB card. Ofcourse collectors kept on calling him. He always advised the collectors, he would only pay if they can give a written repayment plan for him or atleast what they call “installment shots” but they always insisted to pay the minimum first then they will give him. Since they filed a case against him yesterday now he is in jail. I asked the police last night on what will happen, what would be the requirements of his release. The police told me that if he can provide his passport or someone else then they can release him. I tried to give my passport but they dont accept female passport. They said if a friend of his (man) then they can release him. Now, I am coordinating with my fiance’s employer if they could release his passport immediately, but since it’s weekend, we will have to wait.

to stop u at airport they must passes civil judgements and then wait a month an then file the travel banned but if its police case then they can file in to police station and u wil e automaticaly wanted so u cant fly …or they can catch u at street by checking ur id or in car if u make an accident or else u r free bird to move around … .
yeah if ur company made any case that u run away of work or else thing only can be shown in immigration folder .. but police can see and check ur all folders in one window  so if they said not wanted ur clear..
