OfflineHi,
From what you have stated bankruptcy is an option to be relieved of the debts. Are any of the debts student loans?
I ask as student loans less than ten years old cannot be included in bankruptcy, so if you have student loans you can contact the servicer of the loans and inquire as to your options.
You also may want to explore what other assistances and benefits you may be eligible from the government, if you have not already done this.
If you were to look at bankruptcy as an option, you will need to consult with a bankruptcy attorney or trustee in your area to inquire as to all the implications of doing this and how it would effect your situation.
For many people who cannot see the light at the end of the tunnel, bankruptcy is that light.
Let me know how you get on with this.

Okay, so my wife and I (28 and 30 living in Canada) have three very young children. We have both recently graduated from college while accumulated about $50,000.00 in debt. She is now a stay at home mom and I make approximately $1,500.00 a month and have rent of 750 and loan and other credit payments of aprrox 750 as well. We do get some help from the government but we are struggling to buy food and gasoline. I have two jobs (one of which i trained for) but both pay (obviously) very little.
What can we do? We have no money left to pay off things faster to alleviate the debt owed. We feel lost and very helpless. Any insight would be welcome.
