Micki,

How much debt do you have?  What is it made up of, credit cards, loans, mortgage, car note, etc?

If you are struggling just to keep a roof over your head and pay the basics and have other debts such as credit cards, etc, then bankruptcy may be an option depending on your full situation.

As for other options such as a debt management plan or settling debts for less than what is owed, there are good companies out there, but first you would need to be a position to make some form of repayments or have the funds to settle the debts.

Regards,

Jon

I am currently struggling with debt, every month I have to figure out who is going to shut off or repose something before I consider paying lets say a credit card.

We are struggling to feed the house hold.  My husband has concession business that has not done well in these times.
