Aaron, I understand your concerns and anxieties regarding dealing with your debts and creditors, this is something many people feel when placed in this situation.
Since you posted in the Ireland part of the forums, I am going to assume you are based in the Republic of Ireland.
If you do not feel comfortable contacting and discussing your situation with your creditors, having someone do this for you is an option. There are Debt Management companies out there who will contact your creditors on your behalf and work out a repayment plan based on what you can afford each month. A starting point is http://www.mabs.ie
I was let go from previous employment on December 08.I had found it hard finding work and finally got a job in April 09.Since starting this employment I have found it extremly difficult to keep paying my bills. as I am monthly paid I end up owing most of my wages out by the time the end of month comes.
I have 5 creditors and am due in court for a unpaid toll.I feel very embarressed and very nervous about talking to any debt companies on the phone.I currently owe in the region of 15,000+ plus and really dont know what to do.I keep ignoring it in the hope it will go away or my situation will get better.
