You can inquire with the Police there in Dubai and/or also an attorney in that area. They can inquire for you as well.
You can always speak to Citibank, but I am unsure how far back they may keep records of these matters.

How do I know if I have a Entry ban in UAE?
I did have a small outstanding of AED 8000 with Citi Bank in 2004.
I would like to know if there will be a problem in the immigration once i reach dubai or will citibank have filed a case ..i would like to a rechek on the same…
