Consumer Complaint: ! st Financial Investment Fund is trying to collect a debt in the amount of {$2900.00} but have ignored my letters requesting proof of the ownership of the account. I have written them letters requesting they send me this documentation several times but my attempts have been ignored, and I get letters stating I owe the debt but they have never proven the debt is mine despite the attempts. I have nothing in my files that would indicate the debt is mine and i ca n’t get this company to provide proof of the debt. How many times does a person need to request proof of the debt from these third party collections before something gets done about them? I feel all my efforts were for nothing because that ‘s what I got from them.
