Consumer Complaint: I am working with XXXX , XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX to help me with my debt management. We applied for student loan consolidation, including loans defaulted and in collections. They consolidated several but it appears that the ones that are in collections were not rolled into the consolidation. I am making a genuine effort to repay these loans and clean up my credit rating but there is over XXXX a month being garnished from my wages, which I am unable to afford and meet my other obligations. My debt counselors and myself feel that these defaulted loans should have been included in the re-consolidation to help me get a fresh start. I would greatly appreciate any assistance you could provide.
