Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX fr om a company called CDR called my cell number and my work number to inform me of a debt. Calls were made to my extension at work and several other classroom extensions and the office. He informed all these people that he was a collection company, gave everyone my file number, and told them this was attached to my social security number. I contacted XXXX XXXX and told him to NOT contact my work or work colleagues. I also made payment arrangements for 3 payments. End of XXXX to beginning of XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX from CDR called m y cell number, my work number, and several work extensions leaving messages that referred my file number, and again that my file was attached to my social security number. He even called the personal cell number of my principal. He has never disclosed how he got this cell number, nor would he say that he would stop contacting my work or colleagues until I agreed to set up further payment arrangements.
