Consumer Complaint: I attempted to contact Navient to discuss my student loan at XXXX . The person answering the phone presented himself to be a representative of my student loan account and proceeded to ask me to give him information to identify myself to him so that he could look up my account information. I answered his questions with my personal information, including my social security number, and then asked him to identify himself to me again. The line went silent for a few seconds and then he began to ask me further questions. I asked him again to identify himself and asked if he was in fact a Navient representative and the line went silent and then he hung up on me. I have been receiving multiple calls from numbers claiming to be XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX .
