Consumer Complaint: I called midland funding after seeing this on my credit report.I did n’t remember opening an account with them, I called, they said the account was opened XX/XX/XXXX , and it was sold to them, they purchased it XX/XX/XXXX she said .I asked if she will repeat what you just said, her reply was do you want to pay the whole amount today? This means the loan was paid off and sold to them.This is the dispute, it was discharged, they wrote it off and was paid in full.I still get offers for new credit card thru XXXX XXXX .I should n’t still be responsible.
