Consumer Complaint: Portfolio Recovery Associates has placed a derogatory mark on my Credit Report without mailing me any information about this alleged debt. I have made numerous attempts to contact them to resolve this, Including several phone calls to several of their offices as well as over 10 letters sent via USPS. When I call in and try to get more information regarding this account, I am transferred to numerous different people in different positions of the company, Including 2 dif ferent ” Operations Managers ”. I have even tried to reach out to th eir Compliance officer via mail to no avail. After making no progress with phone calls, and no replies to any of my letters, I am forced to get the BBB and the CFPB involved.
