Consumer Complaint: I have a line of credit with TD bank. I pay the balance via online pay at usually 2 wee ks early. I paid the entire balance that displayed on the website of {$4000.00} on XXXX / XXXX / XXXX . On XXXX / XXXX / XXXX , I noted that there was a {$20.00} charge on the line of credit. I presumed that this was an interest charge. I paid the {$20.00} and there was an immediate {$5.00}. I called TD Ba nk and spoke to XXXX , then her supervisor XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ) at TD B ank explained that there is no way to see the entire balance. As a consequence, my balance accrued interest in the amount of {$20.00}. Once I paid this balance, there was anther accrued interest of {$5.00}. The only way that customers must call to find out the true balance is call. This, I believe, is deceptive practice, as I have accrued interest on a balance I did not know existed. This is a hidden fee that is unfair. I do not think I owe them any interest and have asked that they refund the {$25.00}. TD B ank should be required to show the entire balance owed to ensure that are not deceptively charging customers for hidden balances.
