Consumer Complaint: I was contacted by a XXXX XXXX on XXXX XXXX , 2017 , he was calling for a company called Critical Resolutions Mediation. Which is supposedly a Georgia based business. He started by telling me I had an outstanding debt with XXXX XXXX for a defaulted pay day loan. I tried to explain to him that I have never had a bank account with the bank account listed in the loan information. I asked for written validation and he told me the best he could do was email me a copy because if I did n’t resolve this issue that day I would be taken to court and prosecuted. I panicked and upon receiving an email with documents to ” validate ” the debt I promptly deposited {$320.00} into a XXXX XXXX account numbered XXXX . I called XXXX XXXX yesterday to find out if I owed and the amount I owed, because I was supposed to be making another payment to Critical Resolutions Mediation on the XXXX of XXXX . I was told by the lady I spoke to at XXXX XXXX that there is no information for me owing or even ever having a loan with them. She informed me to file a complaint about the Critical Resolutions Mediation as they have scammed me out of {$320.00} and that they are not even a debt collector that XXXX XXXX works with. So XXXX XXXX stole {$320.00} from me as well as threatened legal action against me. The number for XXXX XXXX at Critical Resolutions Mediations is ( XXXX ) XXXX ext XXXX .
