Consumer Complaint: On Thursday XXXX XXXX , 2017 @ XXXX XXXX I spoke to a representative o f Majestic Financial and I was told that my payment scheduled for XXXX XXXX , 2017 would pay off my balance on my account. I requested all communication be in wrting and to cease & desist all phone calls in an email that the supervisor had given me if I wanted to dispute the debt. I sent the email as instructed on XXXX XXXX and I stated I was disputing this debt and i stated that if they feel as though I owe anything, to send me a letter in writing with my pay off balance. I received a phone call from their call center the following day, XXXX XXXX @ XXXX and I can provode cipies of my phone redords if needed. I also received a letter with no balance and threatening to take action against me if I do n’t pay my balance. Under the Fdcpa, if a consumer disputes the debt, my understanding is the creditor has to send validation of debt and the balance owed. I requested this in writing within 14 days as instructed and have yet to receive anything outside of this letter
