Consumer Complaint: I ‘ve been having trouble with false information and negative interactions with Navient phone operators. I set up a payment to be made in XX/XX/XXXX and for some reason it was never taken out. I did my part and yet it was still never taken out. Then my cosigner started getting threatening calls even though I was told that she would not be contacted anymore since I had started a payment plan back in XX/XX/XXXX . She paid some towards the loan and yet the phone calls did not stop. Yesterday I received a call while at work so I was n’t able to answer it and it went to voicemail. On the voicemail that I have saved on my phone, the operator did n’t realize she was leaving a message and can be heard mocking my lack of payment with a co worker. Also yesterday I spoke with a woman who gave me good, but confusing, information and said that I would need to call back to make a payment since I could n’t make one within the next two weeks but that the phone calls would stop for a week. This morning I received a call from a very rude man who would n’t acknowledge the fact that I had spoken with someone yesterday about this very topic and that she said the calls would stop. Needless to say, this is a very stressful situation and I ‘m becoming very annoyed with the treatment I ‘ve received.
